For every 1000 likes on Facebook Mcbess is giving away a print. If I had posted this a few days ago it would have been right before the 2000 mark… So now we gotta make it to 3k.

When I stopped blowing all my cash on posters is about the time I stopped getting motivated to update this internet website page. But I paid a whole 10 dollars for this domain name and I’ll be damned if I’m not going to use it! First up is a silly huge post of a bunch of Gigposters.com listings that I’ve been missing
Read MoreHello again! Its been a long hiatus, and while I contemplate what I want to do with this blog I couldn’t resist posting about this release. Over-all I haven’t really been interested in the Star Wars series that Mondotees has been doing. I think as each artist “inteprets” Star Wars in one way or another it becomes more about their personal style than making a really slick poster that “feels” like the movies. Olly Moss’ trilogy of posters were stunning and came as close as any have to actually capturing that feeling I’m talking about. However the just announced final release of the series from Tyler Stout is fucking mind blowing. Great enough to make me actually update this damn blog!
The news was released via UGO. One poster for each movie in the original trilogy, plus variants of each. Each poster is 24” x 36” and the edition size is 875 standard/325 variant (which I believe must be for each poster and not total which is a massive edition size for Mondo). They are being released New Years eve at a “random” time, Mondo has changed up the way they announce releases so your best bet is to be on their site refreshing like a madman around 11-12 pm EST.

Thanks to posterwhore.com for this one. Diftype has a small collection of some of the most striking giclée prints I’ve ever seen. From the site:
Each Diftype print is created using the Epson Stylys Pro 9900 with SpectroProofer printed on a premium uncoated paper called Magiclée Verona 250 HD. All prints are hand-signed & numbered. The Diftype verification stamp is put on the backside with the signature and number to verify that it’s authentic. Each print is gently rolled into silk and then put into a Diftype branded tube and made ready for shipping.
Check them out on this internet website right HERE.

Haven’t posted about Mondotees in a while, mostly I haven’t caught a release from them before it was long gone. Sort of disappointed with the Star Wars/Trek releases as I feel like those have been sort of lack luster with a few exceptions. However, there are a few prints going onsale tomorrow that look pretty excellent. Particularly a Beetlejuice poster from Rich Kelly (who, at this point I assume, does not ever sleep). These go on sale tomorrow at a “random” time (1 pm EST).

Beetlejuice by Rich Kelly - Hand numbered edition of 150, 18” x 24” for 30 bux HERE.

News at 11… Actually I just caught an update from Rich Kelly so if you’re a fan check these out quick because I imagine they’ll be gone soon.

Read MoreWhoops! Lack of updates! Don’t know what to say, I’m a shitty blogger? Whatever, as usual the releases have just kept on coming. Here’s a ton of Gigposter’s new arrivals that caught my eye over the past week. In the past I wasn’t doing these sorts of posts but not because I was less lazy, I didn’t want to post stuff that I couldn’t verify for sale. However, there’s just too many great prints out there to ignore even if we’ll never get our hands on them.
