I recently had an adventure out in San Francisco. I came home to about a million billion poster related blog posts and newsletters that I really didn’t want to sort through. A month later and I’m amazed by the amount of work churned out, 1000+ new posters on Gigposters, nearly 100 new posts on omgposters.com and Creep Machine. The problem with trying to follow the poster scene is that it moves about a mile a minute. I sorted through all the goodies this afternoon though and found some gems I really wish I hadn’t missed.
OMGposters.com recently highlighted some releases available from the Von Scaramouche gallery. Some of these, in particular a print from Martin Ansin, are pretty awesome and they’re all still available for purchase.

Thanks to OMG posters! for this one. New set of Avett Brothers prints from Ken Taylor will be going up on Postersandtoys.com tomorrow at 2 PM CST. You’ll have a choice of cut sets: edition of 25, three 12” x 24” prints, 50 USD per set or one uncut print of all 3: edition of 25, 24” x 26” for 75 USD.

I just started following Amy Sol recently, the amount of detail she puts into her work is impressive and you get a personal touch with each of these prints.

The Last Mermaid is a giclée print on archival paper, hand titled and signed edition of 100, 19.5” x 17” for 130 USD. This officially goes on sale on the 27th at 2pm PST HERE. But thanks to a link from OMGPosters you can reserve a copy HERE. More pictures after the jump.
